Apricot Makeup Combined with Under-Blushing
In the realm of makeup artistry, under-blushing, is a sophisticated makeup technique that lays the foundation for a flawless complexion. Underpainting involves applying face makeup—such as contour, blush, and concealer—prior to your foundation, offering a refined approach to achieving a seamless and natural finish without harsh lines.
"I love this method because it always uses less product than compared to the traditional way and gives you a seamless and natural finish with no harsh lines."Among the current makeup trends gaining widespread attention on social is the fusion of underpainting with apricot makeup—a choice favoured by celebrities and renowned in the fashion and television industries. Apricot makeup, characterized by its peach and peachy pink hues (aligned with the Pantone Color of the Year), has become a staple for achieving a flawless blend and complementing every skin tone.
How to achieve the look:
Key products to replicate this trend include lipsticks ranging from nude to coral to neutrals, with standout options like Chilli or Devoted to Chilli, perfectly suited to this style. Additionally, glow-play blush, peachy eyeshadows, and bronzers play integral roles in bringing this look to life.
In addition, Saikait advises one to "choose your blush correctly. Select a blush shade that complements your skin tone and desired look." Opt for a colour that complements your skin tone and desired aesthetic. "For under-blushing, it's best to choose a blush colour which is slightly darker than your usual blush shade."
Begin by applying the blush underneath your cheekbones, starting from the outer edges of your face and blending towards the centre. Focus most of the product closer to your ears and taper off as you reach the centre of your face.
Blend the blush seamlessly into your skin to avoid harsh lines and use a clean makeup sponge or a fluffy brush to blend out any harsh edges and ensure a natural-looking finish.
Proceed with the remainder of your makeup routine, ensuring the blush harmonizes effortlessly with your complexion and remains undisturbed by subsequent product applications.

Glass Skin Look

Achieving luminous, radiant skin that exudes a natural glow is a coveted goal for many, epitomizing a makeup aesthetic that is light, breezy, and reminiscent of real skin with a glass-like finish.
For this makeup look, the focus feature is skin; it's the star of the show. While keeping eye and lip makeup understated with neutral shades of beige or pink, the focal point shifts to achieving a high-shine, glass-like complexion. Effective skin preparation is paramount for this makeup look.
How to achieve the look:
Begin by thoroughly moisturizing your skin with a rich face cream. Apply a dewy primer, which works to minimize the appearance of pores, smooth out fine lines, condition your skin, and provide an additional boost of moisture. This step lays the foundation for achieving a radiant, glass-like makeup finish.
Follow it up by using a dewy foundation to even out your skin tone, and remember, less is more when it comes to this skin trend.
Proceed with concealer application under the eyes and in areas requiring colour correction, gently pressing it into the skin and setting it with a light dusting of loose powder. "Don’t over-powder the face, as it will take the shine away, but apply the loose powders only in areas where you need to set the concealer."
When selecting blush, highlighter, and lipstick, opt for creamier formulas such as Glow Play Blush and Powder Kiss Lipsticks to maintain the natural shine.
Keep your brows natural, setting them with a brow gel to avoid detracting from the softness of the overall aesthetic. Keep eye makeup subdued with soft, neutral tones in beige or pink/peaches, defining lashes with a generous application of mascara, and concluding with a refreshing mist to hydrate the skin.
For a flawless finish, I recommend MAC Prep + Prime Fix + to melt the entire makeup together to give you that glowing, radiant glass skin.

Teddy Makeup
Crafting a soft brown monochromatic Teddy makeup look offers a versatile and timeless option suitable for various occasions. The Teddy makeup look exudes understated elegance and sophistication.
How to achieve the look:
Start by cleansing and moisturizing your face to create a smooth canvas for makeup application. Apply a primer to help your makeup last longer and minimize the appearance of pores.Â
Select a foundation that matches your skin tone and apply it evenly across your face, utilizing a makeup sponge or brush to seamlessly blend it into the skin. Conceal any blemishes, dark circles, or areas of redness with a concealer, applying it sparingly and blending meticulously for a natural-looking finish. Set your foundation and concealer with a light dusting of translucent powder to prevent creasing and shine throughout the day, ensuring a flawless base.
For the eyes, begin by applying the MAC Teddy Eye Pencil close to the lash line and blend it into the crease for added depth. Utilize a soft, matte brown eyeshadow palette, starting with a light shade as a base and progressing to darker shades in the crease for dimension. Blend the eyeshadows seamlessly for a smooth transition between colours. Enhance your lashes with MAC Stack Mascara, lengthening and volumizing them for a captivating look. Wiggle the wand at the base of your lashes and comb through to the tips for maximum impact and gravity-defying lashes.
Go for a soft, brown-toned blush to add warmth to your cheeks. I love using MAC Glow Play in Grand. Smile and apply the blush to the apples of your cheeks, blending it upwards towards your temples for a natural flush of colour.
Finish off your monochromatic Teddy look with soft brown lipstick and a generous spritz of MAC Prep + Prime Fix +. I recommend the MAC OG Velvet Teddy, which suits most skin tones; for deeper skin tones, go for Taupe for a nice warm nude lip.
