The French luxury fashion house has recently reinterpreted the house’s essence through the re-imagination of the legendary bag. Piloted by Maria Grazia Chiuri, creative director of Dior, the Lady D-Lite is a sportier version of the Lady Dior for the Dior Spring/Summer 2020 collection.
The purse is constructed of canvas instead of lambskin leather, and is available in four colorways: black, beige, grey and pastel pink.
Staying true to the houses designs aesthetics, the canvas body is tonally embroidered with Dior's signature Cannage criss-cross motifs. Christian Dior's logo has also been embroidered in tonal thread across the centre of the bag. The top handle is accompanied by double-face removable straps making it multifunctional - as a cross body or tote. Adding a contemporary touch to the bag are the chunky gold hardware charms that spell out "Dior".
Available for personalisation at their Lady D-Lite at pop-ups in London, Milan, Paris, Tsum, Kuwait, Dubai and Stoleshnikov, the D-Lite is now available on Dior's website for $4,450 (approx INR 3,19,884).
