The year has flown by, and somehow, we are already stepping into the final stretch of 2025. Yet if there’s one world that never hits pause, it’s luxury. The pace has only picked up. International brands are still deepening their footprint in India. Soho House, too, is moving beyond its usual hubs as it prepares to open in newer cities, signalling just how much demand the country holds for global lifestyle spaces.
Meanwhile, Dubai Watch Week has kicked off with its signature glamour, innovation and a fresh wave of horological storytelling. Here is all that is new in luxury this week.
Dubai Watch Week 2026 kicks off with ultra-luxury novelties
This year marks the 10th anniversary of Dubai Watch Week, and it promises to be an exciting time for remarkable watch releases. One standout is the collaboration between Bamford Watch Department and Frederique Constant, who have reinterpreted the Highlife Chronograph Automatic. This watch features a crystal titanium case, bold contrast, and exceptional readability. Another noteworthy release is the TAG Heuer Monaco Split-Seconds Chronograph Air 1, which takes design inspiration from hypercars. Additionally, we have our eyes on the Louis Vuitton Gérald Genta Gentissima Oursin 41, which comes in two new models showcasing blue and green dial reflections—a tribute to the Earth’s most extraordinary materials. In other news, CEO Georges Kern unveiled the House of Brands, uniting three legendary
watch maisons under one strategic vision. The two historic names joining Breitling—Universal Genève and Gallet—will be previewed at the event ahead of their relaunch in 2026.

The craft shines through with gota, mukaish, pitta, and sequins, including special mukaish from Shabana ji of Old Lucknow. Designed for ease and movement, the pieces work beautifully from ceremony to celebration. Prints, embellishments, jewellery, and even gifting are reimagined for today’s weddings with simple, thoughtful charm.
