Jewellery at the Met Gala 2026 was anything but minimal. Celebrities carried heritage-inspired works and culturally significant pieces on the carpet, each with a modern twist. Bling was fluid and formless, extending beyond the confines of jewellery—we saw it with Hailey Bieber's corset and Ananya Birla's desi-futuristic mask. The sparkle this season was truly unmissable.
Isha Ambani
Isha Ambani wore the custom-made Lorraine Schwartz choker to the Met, styled with her heirloom diamonds. She completed the look with diamond chandelier earrings, an assortment of diamond cocktail rings, and a diamond-and-emerald brooch pinned to her bust.

Sudha Reddy

Sudha Reddy made the boldest statement with a $15 million necklace featuring a 550-carat deep blue-violet tanzanite and large rose-cut diamonds, paired with both a yellow diamond ring and a rose-cut diamond ring.
Diya Mehta

Celebrity stylist and fashion influencer Diya Mehta made a striking appearance in bespoke high jewellery pieces by QWEEN. Diya was spotted wearing two custom-designed hairpins, one featuring a striking 25-carat emerald, of exceptional colour and depth, and the other set with a stunning 20-carat oval-cut natural diamond. The look was completed with a pair of 40-carat emerald earrings, creating a composition that was deliberate, directional, and visually commanding.
Beyoncé

With her rare presence at the Met, Beyoncé wore the Garden of Kalahari Collection necklace from Chopard and diamond earrings from the Precious Lace collection. She took the assignment seriously by opting for a sheer gown adorned with skeletal beads, a striking stole made of feathers, and a dazzling headpiece with spikes.
Sabrina Carpenter

The real Art Deco begins here. Sabrina Carpenter has cracked the code with trends and nailed each of them, time after time. At the Met, Sabrina steals the spotlight wearing custom Chopard jewellery. The singer wore a pair of Chopard diamond drop earrings set in white gold and two diamond eternity bands. But what stood out was her headgear set in a disc, dangling from her head with her first name stamped to the centre.
Anne Hathaway

Andy Sachs, aka Anne Hathaway, made an obvious choice of jewels — Bulgari. She chose a Vimini High Jewelry necklace, which she paired with a Vimini earring and a diamond stud earring on the other.
Connor Storrie

Connor Storrie stepped out in jewellery by Tiffany & Co., keeping his look sharp but interesting. He wore diamond Tiffany Rope huggie earrings in yellow gold and platinum—small, but they added just the right amount of shine.
The real highlight was how he styled two brooches on his turtleneck. One featured cushion cabochon rubellites (totalling 14.84 carats) with diamonds, set in platinum and 18k yellow gold. The other was a Jean Schlumberger Fleurage brooch, with a bold rubellite of over 3 carats and diamonds — easy, modern, and a reminder that brooches can still feel cool.
Venus Williams

Venus Williams makes a statement with a re-creation of the Wimbledon-plate-inspired necklace seen in Robert Pruitt’s Venus Williams, Double Portrait (2022), a portrait of her commissioned by the National Portrait Gallery. It includes symbols representing her family and career, as well as references to the historic struggle for equal pay in tennis and the sport’s pioneering Black champions.
Hailey Bieber

A 24-carat solid gold sculpted bodice at the Met? Hailey Bieber clearly understood the assignment. She wore a custom Saint Laurent gown by Anthony Vaccarello, inspired by Yves Saint Laurent’s Fall 1969 couture collection. The sculpted bodice, mimicking the body itself, was paired with gold earrings, stacked rings, and a dewy, understated makeup look.
Dwayne Johnson

Dwayne Johnson redefines modern menswear in the signature MM brooch from Manish Malhotra High Jewellery to the Met, featuring emeralds and diamonds, precisely set. Wearing a Polynesian skirt and reverting to his roots, Johnson paired the outfit with a $3.3 million Billionaire III watch from Jacob & Co.
Ejae

Ejae stood out in Swarovski from head to toe. With crystals covering her torso and an icy makeup, the singer-songwriter dresses up as a gisaeng (female courtesan of the Joseon dynasty). The updo is held up with Korean hairpins called “binyeos" that have been worn by Korean women for centuries, paying homage to her culture.
Ananya Birla

This one’s for the books. Ananya Birla wore a futuristic metallic mask by Subodh Gupta—an intricate, industrial-inspired piece with layered, sculptural detailing. Styled with custom Robert Wun couture, she paired the look with statement diamond jewellery from Mehta & Sons, layering it with personal pieces to complete the ensemble.
Rosé

Referencing French-based Cubist artist Georges Braque Saint Laurent, Rosé of BLACKPINK wore a black strapless Saint Laurent gown. The singer wore a diamond Palm necklace from the Blue Book 2026: Hidden Garden collection by Tiffany & Co. Set in platinum, the jewel features a cushion-cut diamond with additional diamond accents.
