From tropical rums born in Goa to Himalayan sipping spirits and hotel-exclusive wines, here’s a look at the most exciting new liquor launches in India right now.

Jameson Triple Triple Chestnut Edition

new liquor launches Jameson Triple Triple Chestnut Edition

Jameson has always been the kind of whiskey that doesn’t try too hard — easygoing, reliable, the one you pull out when everyone’s gathered around the table. But the Triple Triple Chestnut Edition feels like Jameson grew up, travelled a little, and came back with stories.

Crafted at the Midleton Distillery in County Cork, this release uses triple distillation and triple cask maturation, a technique that layers complexity without losing balance. The whiskey is matured in ex-Bourbon barrels for sweetness and vanilla notes, Oloroso sherry casks for dried fruit depth, and hand-selected sweet chestnut casks that bring something truly distinctive. The chestnut wood adds velvety notes of toffee fudge, cacao, toasted almonds and soft spice, giving the whiskey a rounder, richer personality.

The first pour opens with rich aromas of toffee fudge, vanilla and hazelnut chocolate. Give it a minute, and you’ll catch sweet pear and green apple quietly rising through the warmth, before deeper notes of dark chocolate and toasted almond settle in. On the palate, it’s lush and textured — creamy fudge, soft vanilla, gentle nuttiness and slow-building wood spice that never overwhelms. The finish lingers gracefully, with fruit and spice fading into balanced oak and chestnut sweetness.

Bottled at 40% ABV and priced at INR 4,200 in Mumbai, it’s best enjoyed neat or with a single cube of ice.

Third Eye Distillery Lost & Found Rum

new liquor launches Third Eye Distillery Lost & Found Rum

There’s something about Goa that slows you down — the sun feels warmer, conversations stretch longer, music spills into the streets. From the makers of Stranger & Sons Gin comes Lost & Found, a tropical spiced rum that feels deeply rooted in Goa’s easy, sun-soaked rhythm.

Born in Goa and inspired by the Indian tropics, this rum leans into coastal character rather than heavy molasses weight. On the nose, you’ll find warm spice, soft caramel and a subtle salty sweetness that feels almost like sea breeze meeting sugarcane. The first sip is smooth and rounded, with layers of tropical warmth, mellow spice and a gentle sweetness that doesn’t overpower. It’s easy to drink, but not simple — there’s enough character to keep you interested. The finish is relaxed and lingering, like a beach sunset you don’t want to rush.

Priced at ₹1,600 and currently available in Goa with Maharashtra, Haryana and Karnataka next in line.

Turya The Leela Palace New Delhi's Private Wine Label

new liquor launches Turya The Leela Palace New Delhi's Private Wine Label

Luxury hotels have always curated experiences, but with Turya, The Leela Palace New Delhi is bottling its own. In a landmark move for Indian hospitality, The Leela Palace New Delhi has introduced Turya, the country’s first hotel-exclusive private wine label, created in collaboration with Grover Zampa Vineyards.

Turya, derived from a Sanskrit concept symbolising transcendence, reflects both intention and craftsmanship. The grapes are grown on Nashik’s serene slopes, then aged in French and American oak, resulting in three distinct expressions.

The Chardonnay–Viognier blend is elegant and quietly expressive. On the nose, expect soft florals and citrus zest; on the palate, creamy oak and gentle fruit unfold with balance and restraint. The C Reserve Tempranillo 2015 leans richer — dark berries, figs and tobacco rise first, followed by earthy leather notes and structure that feels classic and confident. The Private Barrique Reserva Shiraz 2019 offers dark fruit and warm spice, with a silky body that lingers.

These wines are served exclusively across the hotel’s restaurants including Le Cirque, MEGU, Jamavar, The Qube and The Library Bar.

Salty Nerd Vodka

Salty Nerd Vodka

Salty Nerd Vodka is clearly designed for a new-age consumer — bold, flavour-driven and a little irreverent. Launched across Karnataka by Bengaluru-based Blisswater Industries, this 42.8% ABV vodka is distilled from premium grains and charcoal-filtered for a clean, smooth finish.

The Classic variant opens clean and crisp on the nose with subtle grain sweetness. On the palate, it’s bright, clean and easy — ideal for chilled shots or sharp martinis. The Imperial Salted Caramel adds indulgence, offering a sweet-salty nose and a creamy, dessert-like finish that works dangerously well as a sipping vodka. Capitalistic Cola is playful and nostalgic, echoing the fizzy cola notes we all grew up with.

Mohulo Gin

Mohulo Gin

In a category filled with globally inspired gins, Mohulo takes a different path — one that begins in India’s forest heartlands. Built around the Mahua flower, a botanical long used by tribal communities, Mohulo positions itself as India’s first true sipping gin.

The brand worked closely with a tribal-led NGO to honour the heritage behind Mahua, ensuring that sourcing and storytelling remain respectful. The bottle design draws inspiration from tribal tattoo motifs, turning the spirit into an art piece as much as a beverage. Crafted in collaboration with UK distiller Jamie Baxter, Mohulo uses small-batch copper pot distillation to create a gin that is rounded, silky and gently floral. The natural sweetness of Mahua makes it enjoyable neat — a rare quality in a gin market dominated by mixers.

On the nose, Mohulo is soft and floral, with a gentle sweetness that feels natural rather than perfumed. The palate is silky and rounded, offering subtle botanical layers that don’t shout for attention. There’s an almost creamy smoothness that makes sipping neat genuinely enjoyable — a rare feat for gin. The finish is long, floral and quietly complex.

Fratelli Vineyards – 15th Anniversary SETTE x Manish Malhotra

Fifteen years is a milestone, and Fratelli Vineyards is marking it with the final vintage of its iconic SETTE — presented in collaboration with designer Manish Malhotra. It’s wine meets couture.

A bold blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc and Sangiovese, this vintage is aged exclusively in French oak barrels. The wine reveals refined notes of raspberry, violet, and blackcurrant, layered with subtle hints of vanilla and spice. Smooth, structured, and elegantly balanced, it reflects both intensity and finesse. Aged exclusively in French oak, this anniversary vintage opens with refined aromas of raspberry, blackcurrant and a hint of violet. On the palate, it’s structured yet graceful — polished tannins, warm spice and layered depth. The Sangiovese brings freshness that keeps the wine lively, while the Cabernets add complexity. The finish is smooth and age-worthy, with potential to evolve beautifully over the next decade.

Pair it with roast meats, mushroom risotto or festive dinners where the bottle becomes part of the conversation.

IDAAYA

From Those Good Distillers comes IDAAYA, a dark sipping rum inspired by the Himalayas and blended by Master Blender Chris Armes. A mix of 12-year-old Bourbon cask-aged rum and Indian rum aged in sal wood casks using the Solera method, this is craftsmanship layered over time.

Deep amber in appearance, it opens with caramel, vanilla and toasted oak, followed by ripe raisins and plum. On the palate, dark chocolate and toffee dominate, before cinnamon, nutmeg and soft pepper add warmth. The finish is long, complex and gently sweet, unfolding slowly. Priced at approximately ₹7,000 in Gurgaon, it’s built for slow sipping.

new liquor launches CHIVAS Regal

Chivas Regal Crystalgold is a bold reinterpretation of Scotch whisky. It’s clear — visually transparent — yet retains the richness and craftsmanship the brand is known for. Through an innovative filtration process, it achieves remarkable smoothness while challenging traditional expectations of what whisky should look like. Versatile and elegant, it can be sipped neat, poured over ice or used in refined cocktails. Currently available at duty-free stores in Mumbai and Delhi for $79 (1L)
