If you know, you know! Oetker Hotels need no introduction. Though officially founded in 2008, the story of Oetker Hotels began much earlier, shaped by a family whose passion for extraordinary masterpiece hotels has spanned generations.
The story began in the 1920s, when the Oetker family became minor shareholders in Brenners Park-Hotel & Spa, situated on the cusp of the Black Forest in Germany, and Rudolf August Oetker later acquired the Baden-Baden haven in 1941. It continued into the summer of 1964, when Rudolf and Maja Oetker spotted a white villa perched above the azure waters of Cap d’Antibes while sailing the Mediterranean. Five years later, they bought the property, which today is known as Hotel du Cap-Eden-Roc in the South of France. This acquisition ignited within the Oetkers a desire to create a collection of truly exceptional hotels.
Following this, in 1978, the Oetkers set their sights on Le Bristol Paris, and in 1994 on Château Saint-Martin & Spa, a hilltop retreat in Vence. Finally, in 2008, Oetker Hotels was established to operate the Oetker family’s four existing hotels and to expand the brand’s legendary approach to hospitality, characterised by three common ideologies: softness, family spirit, elegance, and genuine kindness. Since then, Oetker Hotels has grown and today is among the most renowned hotel chains in the West, especially in Europe, with recent expansion into Palm Beach, United States.
Located in the world’s most desirable destinations, each property is a landmark and an icon of elegance, blending legendary hospitality with a genuine family spirit that is unique to the Oetker Collection.
