The highly anticipated Barbie movie is set to hit the big screen on 21, July, and the hype around the 90s-inspired Barbiecore trend shows no signs of slowing down. Lead actors Margot Robbie and Ryan Reynolds have been promoting the movie lending to their characters Barbie and Ken in the film. Thus, the outfits sports are in hues of pink.
While some are enjoying the throwback, others are questioning whether the hype is worth it, and some others feel it's simply a marketing gimmick. But no matter what brands, celebrities and fashion enthusiasts around the world are giving the colour Barbie trend a nod, and we too got sucked into the trend. Ahead of the launch, many brands are unveiling Barbie-related summer in collaboration with Mattel that are all things pink – even Airbnb announced a Barbie home in Malibu, California that can be rented because it's a Barbie world this month. Regardless of whether or not this summer's wild array of Barbie-branded products is necessary, they're here and we've rounded them all up.
