Our favourite fashion houses are collaborating with the season’s most iconic hotels, beach clubs and coastal escapes

Summer pop-ups have become luxury’s favourite love language. Every summer, fashion houses pack their bags and head to Europe’s most glamorous destinations, swapping flagship boutiques for beach clubs, cafés, hotels and historic squares. In a tried-and-true summer ritual, these seasonal takeovers have become as much a part of the European holiday as long lunches and lazy afternoons by the sea. And it’s no longer just fashion joining in — Rhode, Gisou and Diptyque have all embraced the pop-up phenomenon, while Alo recently made waves with its Alo Voyage: Wellness Club at Sea. Before you book that beach club or lunch reservation, consider this your guide to where luxury has checked in for the summer.
Jacquemus at Monte-Carlo Beach & Mandarin Oriental, Bodrum
Jacquemus has found its summer home at Monte-Carlo Beach. Back for a second season, the French maison refreshes the Riviera landmark in a 1950s beach club-inspired palette of mint blue, coconut milk white and black, with its signature diagonal stripes extending from the seafront jetty to the Olympic-sized seawater pool and Pool Bar. At the heart of the Beach Club, two boutiques bring together an exclusive capsule, Renoir sketches, Matisse drawings, books and carefully chosen furniture inspired by the landscapes of Provence.
From the French Riviera to the Turkish coast, Jacquemus continues its love affair with Mediterranean summers. Further east, the story continues at Mandarin Oriental, Bodrum, where branded paddleboards, backgammon sets, beach buggies and a dedicated boutique overlook Paradise Bay.
Gucci at La Rose des Vents, Monte Carlo
Gucci returns to Monte Carlo in full bloom. There couldn’t be a more fitting backdrop for Flora than the Riviera, where the print first created for Princess Grace of Monaco marks its 60th anniversary. Scalloped parasols, loungers, towels and tableware are wrapped in Flora's intricate world of blooms, butterflies and botanicals, standing out against the turquoise Mediterranean, while Mark Colle’s towering floral installations echo the motif throughout the beach club. The boutique also features an exclusive capsule collection created to mark the occasion.
Burberry at Hôtel Belle Rives, Antibes, One&Only Aesthesis, Athens & The Standard, Bangkok
Burberry’s summer journey stretches from the French Riviera to the Aegean and, most recently, Bangkok. Hôtel Belle Rives, the Art Deco landmark where F. Scott Fitzgerald spent the summers that inspired Tender Is the Night, takes on the signature Check motif in shades of navy, cream and Riviera blue. The pattern stretches across parasols, loungers and deckchairs overlooking the Bay of Juan-les-Pins before finding its way to the hotel’s original 1920s lift and waterfront terraces. Ice lollies and watersports round out the Riviera experience.
Across the Aegean, One&Only Aesthesis is awash in turquoise, spanning the resort’s pools, gardens and padel courts. Bicycles, buggies and boats complete the scene, while guests can also book private styling appointments and explore a seasonal boutique.
With one final stop, Burberry’s sojourn continues at The Standard, Bangkok Mahanakhon with the Sun Club. The brand transforms the rooftop in a vibrant yellow palette. Tuk-tuks, bespoke ice lollies, wellness experiences and a dedicated boutique bring the summer takeover into the heart of the city.
Dior at Il Riccio, Capri
Dior has set sail for Capri. Perched above the Blue Grotto, Il Riccio is transformed in a Dioriviera style, with blue-and-white Toile de Jouy, nautical stripes, and playful bows dressing terraces overlooking the Gulf of Naples. A reimagined traditional gozzo floats just offshore, while bespoke cocktails and the House’s summer capsule of beachwear and accessories invite guests to settle into the rhythm of la dolce far niente.
Missoni at OKU, Ibiza
Another summer, another splash of Missoni’s signature zigzags at OKU Ibiza. Turquoise, emerald and deep ocean-blue stripes transform the island’s largest pool, with fringed parasols, loungers and towels bringing the House’s unmistakable aesthetic to the Balearic sun. Framed by OKU’s earthy stone walls and minimalist architecture, the takeover unfolds just moments from Cala Gració, offering a quieter side of Ibiza without losing its unmistakable glamour.
Dolce & Gabbana at Taormina, Porto Cervo & Portofino
No fashion house embraces the Italian summer quite like Dolce & Gabbana. This season, the House transforms three of the country’s most iconic coastal destinations through its DG Resort takeovers. In Taormina, San Domenico Palace, A Four Seasons Hotel, the brand debuts the vibrant Palme motif across its infinity pool, sea-facing terraces and an exclusive pop-up boutique. Along Sardinia’s Costa Smeralda, Hotel Cala di Volpe’s Atrium Bar is reimagined in the sun-drenched Maiolica Gialla print, complete with hand-painted ceramics and a seasonal boutique.
Meanwhile, in Portofino, Le Carillon Beach Club is dressed in the House’s Verde Maiolica motif, with emerald-green parasols, loungers and striped cabanas overlooking Paraggi Bay. Together, the three destinations capture Dolce & Gabbana’s unmistakable vision of the Mediterranean: bold, colourful and unapologetically Italian.
Amouage at Nobu Hotel Marbella
This summer, the first thing you’ll notice at Nobu Hotel Marbella isn’t the view; it’s the fragrance. Amouage transforms the hotel with an immersive residency celebrating Love Hibiscus, where scarlet loungers, hibiscus cocktails and delicate palmiers inspired by the fragrance’s salted caramel notes bring the scent to life. The experience extends beyond the pool with fragrance masterclasses, scented welcome amenities and villa bath collections, marking the luxury perfume house’s first collaboration with Nobu Hotel Marbella.
Emporio Armani at Vega La Plage, Cannes
Emporio Armani heads to the Croisette this summer. The House dresses Vega La Plage in its signature monochrome palette, extending its understated aesthetic from the beach to the restaurant with crisp loungers, parasols and cabanas overlooking the Bay of Cannes. Elegant without demanding attention, it’s the Riviera the Armani way.
Circolo Al Fresco at Four Seasons Hotel Firenze
The Italian social club has found a new home this summer at Four Seasons Hotel Firenze. Circolo Al Fresco transforms the Gherardesca Garden into an elegant open-air retreat for bocce, aperitivo and long lunches beneath centuries-old trees. Trattoria Al Fresco and Santa Maria Novella-inspired spa rituals complete the leisurely experience.
Loewe Perfumes at Formentera
Formentera smells a little different this summer. At Dunas de Formentera, Loewe Perfumes transforms the island’s first fashion takeover into a sensory escape inspired by its Pistachio fragrance, where scent and Mediterranean living unfold at an unhurried pace.
Off-White at La Plage Casanis, Marbella
Off-White is taking the summer off. At Marbella’s La Plage Casanis, Days Off transforms the beach into an immersive escape, where an exclusive capsule collection meets fashion, culture and community. But the beach is only one part of this summer’s story. Think Japanese konbini, floating wellness clubs, fragrance gardens and court-side padel. This new generation of takeovers is unfolding across city squares, iconic addresses and cultural landmarks, transforming them into immersive experiences for just a few weeks each summer. Part of the allure is that they’re ephemeral, you either catch them this season or wait to see what brands dream up next summer.
Diptyque, Summer Water Garden at Rue Duphot, Paris and 107 New Bond Street, London
French perfume house Diptyque is inviting visitors into its Summer Water Garden till August 31. Inspired by the Maison’s seasonal collection and brought to life with mosaic artist Mathilde Jonquière, the limited-time experience pairs tranquil garden installations with infused summer drinks and personalised travel keepsakes, turning a boutique visit into a sensory summer escape.
APM Monaco, Padel Pop-Up
APM Monaco is taking jewellery courtside. Opposite the legendary Casino de Monte-Carlo, the House has installed a striking red-and-white padel court inspired by its Un Été à Monaco collection, inviting visitors to rally in the heart of the Principality till July,12, 2026.
Alo, Wellness Club at Sea
Alo welcomed guests aboard this summer. From beachside Pilates and sound healing at Hôtel Martinez to the invitation-only Alo Voyage: Wellness Club at Sea, the brand transformed the Riviera into a floating wellness retreat dedicated to movement, recovery and mindful living.
Lancôme, Summer Club at West Bund Dream Center, Shanghai
Lancôme is bringing a touch of the French Riviera to the West Bund Dream Center. The French beauty house transforms the space into the resort-inspired Summer Club, complete with its signature pink pool, beauty cabanas and a chic café. Immersive beauty experiences, personalised consultations and exclusive rewards complete the seasonal takeover, bringing the South of France to the heart of Shanghai.
What began as seasonal boutiques has evolved into something far more immersive. Today’s luxury pop-ups blur the lines between fashion, hospitality and culture, inviting travellers to experience a brand rather than simply shop it. Fleeting by design, they exist for only a few weeks each summer, making them some of the season’s most coveted destinations. If this summer was any indication, we can’t wait to see what fashion houses dream up next.
