iPhone Air and All The Highlights From The Apple Event 2025

Apple Event 2025 Highlights

Come September, and the world eagerly awaits Apple's annual event — the big reveal of the latest iPhones, Apple Watches, AirPods, and software upgrades. It’s officially that time of the year again, and this year was no different. At long last, this time, Apple has finally given us something truly new to get excited about.

Yes, the iPhone 17 is here, but the real buzz is around the all-new iPhone Air — Apple’s thinnest and lightest phone ever, designed with all-day battery life. The line-up also included the Apple Watch Ultra 3, SE 3, and Series 11, each bringing health-focused upgrades like hypertension alerts and 5G support. And then there’s the AirPods Pro 3, now capable of real-time language translation, heart rate tracking, and over 50 workout modes integrated with the Fitness app on iPhone.

In case you missed it, here are all the highlights from the Apple Event 2025.

iPhone Air

Apple iPhone Air – thinnest and lightest iPhone ever in sky blue"

Apple introduces a new phone, the iPhone Air, a first for the company. It’s the thinnest, lightest, and most durable iPhone yet, weighing just 165 grams and measuring only 5.6mm in thickness. Despite its slim build, it comes packed with pro features and advanced cameras, though it includes only a single rear lens. At 0.22 inches thin and 0.36 pounds, Apple calls it their slimmest iPhone ever.

The iPhone Air runs on the powerful A19 Pro chip, designed to be more energy-efficient than earlier models. Of course, its slim profile comes with a few trade-offs. The iPhone Air supports only eSIM (no physical SIM slot) and has a single rear camera lens. On the brighter side, it brings features like Center Stage on the new 4K HDR front camera, plus the long-awaited dual-capture video mode, which records from both the front and rear cameras at the same time. Video recording goes up to 4K at 60 fps in Dolby Vision HDR, with Action Mode and improved audio features included.

The iPhone Air will be available in black, white, gold, and sky blue.

Price: Starts at ₹1,19,900 for 256GB; also available in 512GB and 1TB

iPhone 17 Pro and Pro Max

The newest iPhone drop is here. The iPhone 17 Pro and Pro Max come with the A19 Pro chip, 12GB RAM, and a complete redesign featuring an aluminium body and Ceramic Shield 2 glass for triple the scratch resistance.

In terms of camera ( a huge selling point for the iPhones), both models feature a 48MP triple-camera system with up to 8x optical zoom, improved low-light performance, and a new tetraprism telephoto lens. Every iPhone in the lineup gets a new front-facing camera with Centre Stage, keeping users perfectly framed during calls and recordings.

Charging is also faster, Apple says the 17 Pro and Pro Max can reach 50% in just 20 minutes with its new 40W Dynamic Power Adapter (60W Max). The Pro Max also boasts Apple’s largest battery ever, offering up to 39 hours of video playback. Camera capabilities take a big leap forward, too — equivalent to carrying eight pro lenses in your pocket. The iPhone 17 Pro and Pro Max will be available in silver, deep blue, or a striking new orange

Pro Price: Starts at ₹1,34,900; available in 256GB, 512GB, and 1TB

Pro Max Price: Starts at ₹1,49,900; available in 256GB, 512GB, 1TB, and 2TB

iPhone 17

The iPhone 17 comes with a set of fresh upgrades. Like the Pro models and the iPhone Air, it features Ceramic Shield 2 for improved scratch resistance, plus a new anti-reflective coating that reduces glare. The display is now larger at 6.3 inches (up from 6.1 inches) with slimmer bezels compared to the iPhone 16.

Powered by the new A19 chip, the iPhone 17 promises all-day battery life and up to eight extra hours of video playback over its predecessor, thanks to iOS 26’s Adaptive Power Mode. On the back, it sports a 48MP main camera and a 12MP telephoto lens, while the upgraded front-facing camera now supports 4K and HDR, along with Center Stage and the widest field of view yet — nearly double last year’s. It also introduces the dual-capture video feature, allowing users to record from the front and rear cameras at the same time. The iPhone 17 will be available in black, lavender, mist blue, sage, and white.

Price: Starts at ₹82,900 for 256GB; also available in 512GB

AirPods Pro 3

Apple AirPods Pro 3 with live translation and heart rate monitoring

The third-generation AirPods Pro bring a big set of upgrades. Noise cancellation is now twice as effective as the previous model, and Apple has introduced a more customizable fit with five silicone ear tip sizes. For the first time, AirPods also include heart rate sensing, expanding Apple’s health-tracking ecosystem. The new heart-rate monitoring uses built-in sensors and an accelerometer to track your pulse, syncing directly with the Health app to log heart rate, calories burned, and workouts — just like the Apple Watch. Apple has also significantly improved the earbuds’ water- and sweat-resistance, making them more durable for active use.

One of the standout features is real-time language translation powered by Apple Intelligence. As someone speaks in their language, the AirPods Pro 3 instantly play back the translation in your own language, while your iPhone displays your words in their language and even reads them aloud. At launch, translations will cover English, French, German, and Portuguese, with Spanish, Italian, Japanese, Korean, and Simplified Chinese rolling out later this year. This live translation integrates seamlessly across FaceTime, Apple Translate, and third-party apps.
