Obeetee opens in Ahmedabad

Obeetee Carpets, one of India’s oldest and most celebrated rug makers, has opened a landmark store in Ahmedabad’s Bodakdev.  Designed as an immersive space rather than a conventional showroom, the store brings together the brand’s iconic hand-knotted carpets and its complete premium furniture collection for the first time. The space reflects Ahmedabad’s deep-rooted culture of craft and design while redefining contemporary luxury living. Its interiors echo Gujarat’s artisanal spirit through earthy textures, warm finishes, and soft light. Obeetee’s carpets carry a legacy of over a century, where Classic Persian and Indo-Turkish weaves are showcased alongside contemporary designs and furniture,  marking an extension of the brand’s evolving design vocabulary.


Zenith launched Chronosmaster Sport Meteorite

ZENITH takes its award-winning Chronomaster Sport to a new realm with the launch of the Chronomaster Sport Meteorite. Winner of the 2021 Grand Prix d’Horlogerie de Genève "Chronograph" prize, the CHRONOMASTER Sport is a bold expression of ZENITH’s unrivalled expertise in high-frequency automatic chronographs. The grey meteorite dial is meticulously hand-finished to unveil the rare Widmanstätten pattern, a naturally formed geometric structure created by the slow cooling of molten iron in space. 


Set against a sporty chic aesthetic, ZENITH’s signature tri-colour counters in silver, light grey, and anthracite add striking contrast, enhanced by a refined circular azuré finish. Encased in a 41mm stainless steel case with a sleek, contemporary silhouette and pump-style pushers, the CHRONOMASTER Sport retains the DNA of the legendary 1969 A386 model. At its core beats the El Primero 3600, the latest generation of ZENITH’s legendary chronograph calibre. This classic piece is a benchmark in contemporary watchmaking, with its poetic design and performance. 


Rohit Gandhi and Rahul Khanna open their flagship store in Mumbai

Acclaimed designer duo Rohit Gandhi and Rahul Khanna unveiled their flagship store in Mumbai on 25th August 2025. This exclusive menswear destination is located on Tara Road, Juhu. The space reflects the duo’s architectural approach to fashion with black marble floors, minimalist grey walls, and metallic accents that create an immersive, gallery-like experience.


The new Juhu store will be a one-stop destination for RGRK’s full menswear range. It will feature Autumn/Winter 2025 collections showcasing their latest exploration of floral abstracts and celestial geometries, a curated festive edit - featuring their signature three-dimensional embroideries and metallic thread work, and also a footwear line to complete the modern groom’s wardrobe. 


Hublot Polo Gold Gstaad 2025

The Hublot Polo Gold Cup Gstaad 2025 marked its 28th edition with grandeur as the most prestigious polo tournament in the Alps. The event transformed Gstaad-Saanenland Airport into an exclusive stage where the world’s polo elite gathered to celebrate tradition, performance, and luxury.


This year, Team Hublot stood out in petrol blue and mint green, echoing the brand’s latest icons - the Big Bang Unico 42 mm, and the Big Bang One Click 33 mm. The Big Bang Unico 42 mm houses the Manufacture’s MHUB1280 chronograph movement, a technical masterpiece with flyback chronograph and column wheel, protected by five patents. The Big Bang One Click 33 mm radiates feminine elegance, adorned with a bezel set with 36 diamonds. Available in Petrol Blue and Mint Green, it brings versatility and glamour to contemporary haute horlogerie. Both of these iconic designs embody Hublot’s “Art of Fusion,” where tradition meets bold innovation.


Grissini at La Piazza, Hyatt Regency Delhi

La Piazza at Hyatt Regency, Delhi will host Grissini, the iconic Italian restaurant from Grand Hyatt Hong Kong, for an exclusive 10-day pop-up from August 28, 2025, to September 6, 2025.


A legacy dining destination since 1989, Grissini is celebrated for its authentic Italian flavours, and now Delhi gourmands can experience its timeless charm.  Curated by Chef Valerio Mandile, the menu highlights seasonal produce and refined techniques, offering everything from silken pastas and seafood to indulgent meats and inventive desserts, all paired with fine wines. Guests can also look forward to engaging with Chef Valerio as he brings the essence of Italian culinary artistry to the capital. 


Launch of fine Scotch malt “Madhavan by Uppal Brewers & Distillers

Uppal Brewers & Distillers has unveiled Madhavan, a bold new whisky crafted from Indian grain spirits and fine Scotch malt, marking another milestone in its rapid rise within India’s premium whisky market.


Launched just eight months after the debut of its first label, Soorahi, Madhvan embodies UBD’s vision of blending craftsmanship with cultural resonance and modern storytelling. Madhvan, meaning “nectar of the forest,” stands out with its distinctive packaging that combines modern urban aesthetics with cultural symbolism, dark, grunge-inspired palettes, and neon-accented tiger motifs that channel inner strength, ambition, and self-belief. 


The whisky is currently available in Delhi and Punjab, with wider rollouts planned soon. It will also be available in premium retail outlets and served at select bars and restaurants.


ARKS × Lays Collaboration

In a bold crossover of snacks and style, Ranbir Kapoor’s lifestyle brand ARKS has teamed up with Lay's to launch Colour-Lays, a limited-edition sneaker capsule inspired by the iconic hues of Lay’s chip packets. The Colour-Lays collection channels the instantly recognisable hues of Lay’s packs into bold, statement-making fashion pieces. The ARKS sneakers are designed to reflect the playful essence of Lay’s chips with the timeless and comfy low-top silhouettes.


Reimagining flavours like India’s Magic Masala, Spanish Tomato Tango, West Indies Hot & Sweet Chilli, and American Style Cream & Onion into striking shades of blue, red, orange, and neon green, the collection blends ARKS’ street-style edge with Lay’s cultural familiarity.


TimeVallée × Art of Time unveils in Chennai

TimeVallée, the Swiss luxury watch retail concept, has expanded its presence in India with the grand opening of its third and most immersive boutique in Chennai, in partnership with Art of Time. The new boutique blends heritage with contemporary luxury across three floors.


The store combines heritage and contemporary luxury with its striking facade, golden tube accents, watchband-inspired marquee, and champagne-toned interiors. They are showcasing prestigious Maisons like Cartier, Bulgari, Jaeger-LeCoultre, Piaget, Panerai, IWC Schaffhausen, Roger Dubuis, and Baume & Mercier. The space also features a Time Café and innovative experiences designed to spark a passion for horology. TimeVallée, together with Art of Time, offers bespoke services, including home shopping, in-boutique services, and advanced omnichannel platforms.


Louis Vuitton debuts its luxury makeup line

Louis Vuitton debuts La Beaute Vuitton, its inaugural makeup collection crafted by Dame Pat McGrath with a campaign captured by Steven Meisel starring Hoyen and an international cast. This makeup line will be one of the most expensive premium beauty ranges on the market, with lipstick and lip balms priced at US$160 and eyeshadow palettes at US$250. The collection features 55 LV Rouge lipsticks spanning soft neutrals, vibrant reds, and bold statements, each calibrated to various undertones and skin depths, along with 10 LV Baume lip balms and 8 LV Ombres eyeshadow palettes.


Developed in LVMH laboratories, the formulas are free from petrochemicals and enriched with upcycled flower waxes for deep hydration and sensorial luxury. Though the brand has elevated the formula and packaging with luxury details, the high price means it will mainly attract a small circle of wealthy buyers, reviving a sense of exclusivity. Presented in sustainable, refillable packaging by Konstantin Grcic, the collection launches exclusively in China on August 20, 2025, followed by a global release on August 29, 2025, across select Louis Vuitton stores and online.


Rahul Mishra unveils Flagship store at Horniman Circle, Mumbai

Rahul Mishra has opened his largest flagship store at Mumbai’s historic Horniman Circle. Designed in collaboration with architect Rooshad Shroff, the store is envisioned as a living museum where embroidery, nature and narrative design move beyond garments to inhabit the space itself.


This immersive space unfolds like a narrative, from contemplative galleries of sketches to archival motifs, embroideries, dried flowers and sculptural mannequins, inspired by botanical and avian worlds central to Mishra’s work. Extending couture into architecture, the flagship features wood marquetry, handwoven carpets, inlaid embroidery, and bespoke lighting. Culminating in a dramatic chamber of suspended hand-crafted birds, the flagship becomes more than retail; it is a cultural landmark in Kala Ghoda, celebrating India’s craft traditions while redefining contemporary luxury.


The launch of The Ritz-Carlton Masai Mara Safari Camp

The Ritz-Carlton unveiled its new Masai Mara Safari Camp in Kenya’s iconic reserve, offering 20 luxurious treetop tented suites, including a Presidential Villa, designed by LW Design with biophilic principles to blend seamlessly with nature. Set along the Sand River near the Kenya-Tanzania border, the camp immerses guests in Maasai culture through traditional rituals, personal Encholiek guides, and experiences that range from private safaris and hot air balloon rides to immersive storytelling. The Ritz-Carlton, Masai Mara Safari Camp is a sensory journey where bold African flavours are served with panoramic views. Nest, the camp’s signature restaurant, offers globally inspired dishes reimagined with East African soul. Upeo Sky Deck hosts celestial dinners under the stars, with telescopic stargazing and mythic tales. The camp’s vibrant bar and lounge serve bush-inspired cocktails and shareable plates, elevated by the Spice of Africa ritual, where guests can select their own blend of local spices to infuse gin or cocktails. The Whispering Tree Spa offers ancestral healing rituals, personalised experiences that include breath work, meditation, and yoga. The Safari camp is nestled deep in the Masai Mara, yet only 45 minutes by flight or five hours by road from Nairobi. The place offers a one-of-a-kind escape where wildlife, tradition, and landscape intertwine.
