I always dreamed of being an entrepreneur, having my own business, owning something, and showing up every day. Little did I know that the adrenaline rush and excitement eventually fade.

The chase becomes constant, failure becomes part and parcel of the journey, and days when growth feels like a distant dream become a reality.

I always fantasised about flexible working hours and the ability to switch off whenever I wanted.

But once I stepped into the journey, I realised it was quite the opposite. Constant calls, a never-ending list of responsibilities, the buck always stopping with you, decisions, delegation, and learning to celebrate small wins. Living this entrepreneurial journey made me want to spotlight the paths of fellow founders, and that's how this special edition was born.

You rise, you fall, and then you rise again. That's the rhythm of real entrepreneurship-a constant dance of trial and error, and a learning curve that nothing else can teach you. Behind every success story and spotlight moment lie years of hard work, research, resilience, and an unapologetic love for one's craft.

This edition celebrates that spirit. It is dedicated to India's new rising stars and the emerging lexicon of luxury-our 40 Under 40 Entrepreneurs. The brave-hearted who chose to build something of their own, knowing full well that entrepreneurship is never for the faint-hearted.

As an entrepreneur myself, I felt compelled to shine a light on these stories- of young leaders redefining what luxury looks like in India. It takes immense courage to step away from established paths, whether family businesses or secure jobs, and create something from scratch. Yet these individuals, all 40 or under, have done exactly that.

In the pages ahead, entrepreneurs share their journeys-the highs, the growth charts, and yes, the struggles that shaped them. This edition is my tribute to everyone who has dared to dream, worked tirelessly to make it real, and kept going, one day at a time.
