The Spring/Summer 2019 fashion week saw the return of many retro trends, but one of the biggest trend that caught our attention were the fluorescent shades. Ranging from lime green, blinding yellow, hot pink and orange - bright neon colours ruled the runway. Despite its infamous past, the trend is here to stay.
The neon accents were spotted at various shows including Versace, Jeremy Scott , Cristiano Burani and many more. The runway was full of ensembles that were head-to-toe fluorescent, as well as ensembles that had subtle pops of neon. Designers have even added neon to evening wear in a highly sophisticated manner. Moving away from neon green, style muse Kendall Jenner wears a romantic ruffled fluorescent pink dress from one of the most recent fashion collaborations - Giambattista Valli Official X H&M. Being creative, cool and couture-like, the collection is sure to make you feel like you're in a fairytale.
Blake Lively sports the trend as she makes an appearance in fluorescent pant-suit designed by Versace. She carried the outfit with great panache and we have no reason to complain.
