New Restaurant Openings To Dine At This June

Updated: Jun 24

By Sanjna Thakeria and Aahna Midha

The culinary party in India doesn’t seem to be slowing down anytime soon. Just when you thought the country had fully embraced the speakeasy wave, another trend takes over—this time, it’s the steady rise of café culture, with chic coffee spots popping up across cities at every corner. At the same time, international names are doubling down on India’s growing appetite for global flavours, think cult favourites like Ben’s Cookies making their way into the market, while established brands continue to expand with fresh new outlets and immersive dining formats. Here’s a round-up of the most exciting new restaurant openings you’ll want to keep on your radar (and quite possibly add straight to your wishlist this month).

New Delhi

Public Supply, Hauz Khas

Set in Hauz Khas, Public Supply is one of the few new restaurant openings that opens as a neighbourhood café built around a beverage programme designed to move with the rhythm of a typical day. Focusing on a healthy lifestyle, the all-day menu spans nutrient-dense bowls, protein-forward plates, sourdough sandwiches, fresh bakes, cold-pressed juices, functional smoothies, and speciality coffee in a single 36-cover space.

The drinks are the real point of distinction. Personalisation is built into the programme with add-ons like collagen, creatine, magnesium, ashwagandha, and adaptogens, allowing each drink to be tailored to the moment. The kitchen is led by chefs Megha Kohli and Noah Barnes, with specials that include Brazilian Acai Mood Bowls, Skyr Yoghurt Turkish Eggs with Hazelnut Dukkah, and pistachio cinnamon rolls.

The First Floor, One Golden Mile

Located at One Golden Mile in South Delhi, The First Floor is a cocktail-led, all-day dining space that shifts naturally from relaxed evenings into high-energy nights. Bob (Yumit Kumar), previously at Sidecar and Naar, leads the bar programme. The cocktail menu explores two moods of nightlife—the social, lively first half of the evening and the more intimate, slower second half. Drinks like The Dealer’s Choice, Fake Orgasm, and Almost There reflect this contrast, playful in name yet thoughtful in execution.

Chef Saurav Bhatnagar heads the kitchen, with a menu that moves across sushi and raw plates, bar tapas, gyozas, grilled mains, and sharing plates, designed for easy grazing through the night. A warm outdoor section sets the tone for early evenings, while red-lit interiors bring a different energy as the night builds. Inside, a long central bar, a live sushi counter, and music-driven ambience shape the late-night experience. Overall, the space feels like a considered opening and a natural fit for where Delhi’s hospitality scene is heading.

Ben's Cookies, Lodhi Road

Ben's Cookies, the British bakery brand founded in Oxford's Covered Market in 1983, opens its first store in India at Meherchand Market, Lodhi Road, through an exclusive partnership with DS Group. The format is a boutique bakery, warm wooden finishes, signature red accents, and café-style seating, positioned as much for gifting as for walk-in indulgence.

The store opens with 13 signature cookie variants alongside cookie shakes, coffees, and cookie ice cream sandwiches. Individual cookies start at Rs. 325, with curated gifting boxes available across price points for festive, celebratory, and corporate occasions.

304, Greater Kailash 1

304 takes its name from the founder’s college room number—304—the space where some of their most formative years were spent. The bar is built as an ode to those days and the memories that came with them.

Now open in GK1, New Delhi, 304 is a reservation-only cocktail bar and listening room that leans into nostalgia in a very intentional way. The space is designed as a deliberate step away from the everyday, vinyl-led, unhurried, and rooted in memory. The cocktail menu draws on 110 in-house ingredients across 16 drinks, each inspired by the smells, tastes, and places that shaped those years. Small plates follow the same logic, playful Indian dishes that sit somewhere between tradition and rebellion.

Adrift Kaya, Aerocity

Adrift Kaya has a new cocktail programme that reads more like a journey than a drinks menu. Tracing a route from Edo-era Japan to Delhi via the Silk Route and the Himalayas, it combines Japanese bar techniques with Indian ingredients such as buransh, kahwa and jaggery. Highlights include the umami-forward Broth of Edo, the Sunstone Negroni and the Red Fort Old Fashioned, each exploring flavour through a distinctly contemporary lens.

FES, Lodhi Art District

FES has a new Lodhi Art District flagship, and cookies take centre stage. Inspired by the fictional world of the Cookie Dealer, the multi-floor space combines immersive interiors, hidden details and community-focused design.

Inspired by downtown New York loft culture, the interiors mix residential warmth with layered textures, soft lighting, curated objects, hidden details, and music-led energy that encourages repeat visits and lingering conversations. Spread across three floors, each level represents a different room in the Cookie Dealer’s world. The Ground Floor, “The Shop,” captures the energy of a working bakery-café—fresh cookies, coffee service, packing boxes, and constant movement. The First Floor, “The Loft,” feels like a living room made for long, easy stays, conversations, and slow afternoons. The Second Floor, “The Lab,” opens up the brand’s inner world with projections, visual storytelling, music programming, and hidden references. Across all levels, the Cookie Dealer’s presence appears through small details—cryptic notes, recurring symbols, and tucked-away storytelling moments that turn every visit into a discovery.

On the menu alongside the brand’s signature 100-gram gooey cookies, are shaken coffees, matcha-led beverages and seasonal specials, offering a dessert-first take on the traditional café experience.

Zetu, Delhi

Zetu opens as Delhi's first contemporary Sri Lankan restaurant in a Geoffrey Bawa-inspired space. The menu pulls from home kitchens and street corners, lamprais, buffalo-milk burrata, achcharu-spiced fruit, and a choon paan butter flight among the standouts. The cocktail list leans tropical, with the Frangipani Martini already making an impression. Rooted in place, precise in execution.

In Good Co, GK 2

In Good Co opens as a specialty coffee destination launched by the Aditya Birla Group, designed as a premium social space with a calming, considered aesthetic and a striking blue facade that's already hard to miss.

The coffee is the draw. A 100% Arabica roast programme sits alongside matcha and a curated food menu built for slow mornings and long afternoons. The kind of place you come for a coffee and end up staying for two hours.

Nadoo, The Kitchens, Gurugram

The Nadoo experience has arrived in Gurugram. Already with a strong presence in Delhi, the premium South Indian restaurant helmed by food historian Chef Shri Bala and restaurateur Sahil Sambhi now brings its culinary journey across Tamil Nadu, Kerala, Karnataka, Andhra Pradesh, and Telangana to a new city.

The menu moves well beyond the expected. Mangalore buns and pineapple gassi sit alongside curry leaf lobster, donne biryani, and a Russel Market Raan worth coming back for. A dedicated Kappi Bar, regional cocktails, and inventive desserts round it out. Warm, considered, and with plenty to say

Savorworks, Gurgaon

Savorworks has expanded to Gurgaon with a new retail-café concept at One Horizon Center, marking the next chapter for the artisanal coffee and chocolate brand. Moving beyond the traditional café format, the space brings together specialty coffee, bean-to-bar chocolate and cocktail-led evenings in a more hospitality-driven setting.

Designed by Aayushi Malik, the interiors draw inspiration from cacao and coffee through sculptural elements, layered textures and playful details. By day, the space functions as a café and retail destination, while evenings introduce a cocktail programme built around Savorworks’ signature ingredients.

Mumbai

Veronica's, Lower Parel

Bandra’s cult-favourite sandwich shop has officially crossed the Sea Link. Veronica’s has opened its second outpost in Lower Parel, bringing its signature all-day energy, stacked sandwiches and specialty coffee to Kamala Mills. The new space balances industrial influences with Veronica’s trademark warmth, creating an atmosphere that sits somewhere between a vinyl listening bar and a neighbourhood café. The interiors mix steel, glass, exposed ceilings, timber, terrazzo, and tiled accents. A striking blue communal table sits at the centre, surrounded by booths, café seating, and a cocktail bar, while signature Veronica’s touches like the yellow-tiled coffee counter and graphic details add warmth and personality.

Alongside cult favourites such as the Avo Snob, the menu introduces new additions, including the Mapo Tofu Sloppy Joe and The Godfather. Fresh bakes, small plates and aperitivo-inspired cocktails round out the menu.

Brevé 2.0, Bandra

What began as a gathering place for Mumbai’s running community has found a new home in Bandra. Brevé 2.0, the brand’s flagship café, brings together specialty coffee, all-day dining, and Running Late by Brevé (Mumbai’s first café-led run club) under one roof.

The menu balances nourishing favourites with indulgent treats, from the Build Your Own Breakfast Board to Miso Prawns with Soba & Teriyaki. Meanwhile, signature drinks such as the Pistachio Cold Foam Cold Brew remain at the heart of the experience. Whether you’re stopping by after a morning run or settling in for brunch, the café reflects a growing appetite for spaces built around movement and community.

Bombae Apartment, Andheri

Mumbai's first all-day bar built around nostalgia has opened its doors in Andheri. Inspired by the charm of old Bombay homes, Bombae Apartment recreates the feeling of a lived-in apartment through spaces modelled on living rooms, dining areas, and cosy lounges. Designed by Nishant Desai of UDA India, the interiors feature warm tones, vintage accents, and layered textures that encourage guests to settle in and stay a while.

The menu spans global comfort food and signature cocktails, with highlights including The Secret Apartment, Smoke & Mirrors, and Flora & Fauna. Do not forget to save room for dessert, because the Baileys Gulab Jamun is worth the indulgence.

House of Akina, Bandra

Bandra's newest contemporary Asian restaurant invites diners into the imagined world of Akina, a fictional muse whose travels across Asia shape everything from the menu to the cocktail programme.

Designed to feel more like a private residence than a conventional restaurant, the space unfolds through living room-inspired interiors, layered textures, and a striking crimson ceiling installation. Leading the culinary vision is Chef Ashwin Singh, whose experience includes acclaimed kitchens such as Gaggan and Masque. Signature dishes from The Akina Edit include the Gondhoraj Salmon Ceviche and Wonton Lamb Birria Taco, while cocktails such as Green Hour and The Silk Route draw inspiration from destinations across Asia.

Gulmurg, Kemps Corner

One of Mumbai's longest-standing dining institutions has entered a new chapter. Following an 18-month restoration, Gulmurg at The Shalimar Hotel, Kemps Corner, has reopened, bringing a refreshed dining experience to a restaurant that has been part of the city's culinary landscape since 1962.

While the space has been carefully restored for a new era, many of Gulmurg's signature dishes remain firmly in place, including favourites such as Chicken Makhanwala and Paneer Makhanwala. Now led by the third generation of the Advani family, the restaurant continues a legacy that has shaped Mumbai's dining culture for more than six decades.

BNDRA W, Bandra

Inspired by the neighbourhood it calls home, BNDRA W is a new all-day dining destination in the heart of Bandra West. Designed by Francesca Smith in collaboration with Kasa Atelier, the space blends European conservatory influences with Art Deco details, from statement chandeliers to black-and-white checkered floors. Built for every part of the day, it moves effortlessly from morning coffee and breakfast meetings to evening cocktails.

The menu spans all-day breakfast favourites, artisanal bakes, and globally inspired comfort food, while a cocktail programme inspired by cultural icons such as Frank Sinatra and Marilyn Monroe carries the experience into the night.

Belmarose, Sahara Star

Located within Sahara Star, Belmarose is a new fine dining and nightlife destination that brings together European-inspired interiors, contemporary cuisine, and handcrafted cocktails under one roof. The menu led by Chef Sunil Pandey, blends European and Asian influences through dishes such as the Rosette Ravioli and Lobster in XO Sauce. By the bar, signature cocktails include Pandan Bloom and Ignis Roma, adding to the experience, while the venue's after-hours energy makes it one of Mumbai's newest nightlife addresses.

Mabruk, Sahara Star

One of Mumbai's most loved Lebanese restaurants has unveiled a luxurious new avatar at Sahara Star. Reimagined with grand archways, intricate mosaics, lantern lighting, and Middle Eastern-inspired design details, Mabruk's refreshed space brings a renewed sense of elegance to its long-standing culinary legacy.

Alongside the redesigned interiors, the restaurant has introduced a curated new menu featuring additions such as Root Harra, Asparagus Baklava, and Umm Ali, while continuing to celebrate the authentic Lebanese flavours that have defined Mabruk for years. Signature cocktails inspired by Middle Eastern ingredients further round out the experience.

High Note, Bandra West

Set on Waterfield Road in Bandra West, High Note opens as a retro-first music bar built around the golden decades of the '60s through '90s. Spread across 2,000 sq. ft., the space is designed around sound, featuring an L-Acoustics system and a programme built on vinyl sessions, classic rock nights, and live performances.

The cocktail menu by Eluther Gomes is structured like a record — opening bright, building through a savoury mid-section, and finishing rich. Chef Gracian's sharing plates are built for long evenings — tacos, pork sausages, and butter garlic prawns with local pav. Feels less like a bar, more like a house party.

Seasee Street, Bandra

Saamir Chandnani and Rinchen Angchuk, the duo behind Kofuku, Heng Bok and Mirai, are opening Seasee Street’s doors in Bandra on June 24, 2026. Inspired by Southeast Asia’s diverse food cultures, the restaurant brings a fresh addition to Mumbai’s growing appetite for bold regional flavours. Six countries. Six night markets. One roof. Street eats from Thailand, Vietnam, Indonesia, Malaysia and beyond come together in Bandra, bringing the energy of Asia’s most iconic night markets into one immersive space. Seasee Street promises a lively dining experience shaped by bold flavours and an energetic atmosphere.

Hyderabad

Izumi

After winning a loyal following in Mumbai and Goa, Izumi has opened its third outpost in Hyderabad. Set against a lakeside backdrop and significantly larger than its existing locations, the new restaurant brings the brand's signature approach to Japanese dining to one of India's fastest-growing culinary cities. The opening also marks a full-circle moment for co-founder Chef Nooresha Kably, whose early years in hospitality began in Hyderabad.

Guests can expect much-loved Izumi favourites, from sushi and robata grills to ramen bowls and handcrafted cocktails. Highlights include the Bluefin Chutoro Nigiri, Lamb Chops from the robata grill, and the restaurant's signature Spicy Miso Ramen, alongside Hyderabad-exclusive additions that add a local dimension to the menu.

Fireback & Barback

Bangkok's vibrant dining culture arrives in Hyderabad with the opening of Fireback & Barback at The Loft, HITEC City. Helmed by acclaimed chef David Thompson, Fireback serves a menu rooted in authentic Thai flavours, from miang kham and pineapple som tam to jungle curry and soft-shell crab red curry.

Guests enter through Barback, a cocktail-led space inspired by the late-night energy of Bangkok's Chinatown, where drinks spotlight ingredients such as pandan, yuzu and kaffir lime. Together, the two concepts bring a slice of Thailand's food and nightlife scene to the city.

Kolkata

Cove

Tucked into Harrington Mansion on Ho Chi Minh Sarani, Cove opens in Kolkata as a cocktail-led restaurant bar designed to shift from slow, spirited evenings into high-energy nights. The 4,000 sq ft space seats 130 across three distinct zones, a main floor built for celebration, a mezzanine VIP lounge with a resident DJ booth, and a sophisticated bar area, alongside a private dining room for more intimate occasions.

With Cave references, the interiors, designed by Akash Roy, lean towards dark, sculptural, and atmospheric, with organic forms, asymmetric furniture, and automated mood lighting that adjusts the space as the night progresses. On the menu is a culinary programme that draws on global cuisine with a contemporary edge, with options that include gluten-free and vegan dishes. While the bars' bespoke pours are worth trying.

Cal-On

Hyatt Centric Ballygunge's rooftop microbrewery Cal-On refreshes its menu under Executive Chef Sougata Halder. The new menu moves across bold Asian small plates, an expanded sushi and roll selection, clay-oven specials, and a fresh pizza line-up, with standouts including Hanoi Hanah rolls, Kasundi Fish Tikka, and a Burrata Arugula Cherry Tomato pizza. Desserts round things off with a Belgian Chocolate Pastry and a classic Tiramisu.

Bangalore

Nandan Coffee

Bringing a three-generation coffee-growing legacy from Kodaikanal to Bengaluru, Nandan Coffee has opened its first flagship in the city. The café traces every cup back to the brand's family-owned Nandanvan Estate, offering everything from espresso-based drinks and manual brews to a dedicated Filter Kaapi Bar. The food menu draws inspiration from both Kodaikanal and Mumbai, featuring dishes such as the Mari-wala Scramble, Bombay Bagel, and Nandan Tiramisu French Toast. Add a pet-friendly atmosphere and a dedicated menu for furry companions, and Nandan feels less like another café opening and more like a thoughtful extension of its origins.

The Azulian House

Conceived as a botanist’s home, The Azulian House is The Leela Palace Bengaluru’s newest dining destination. The space unfolds through a series of immersive rooms, including The Living Room, The Glasshouse, The Lab and The Orchard, creating an experience that feels as much about exploration as it does dining. Led by Chef Zafar, the menu draws inspiration from Peru’s culinary heritage while working with locally sourced Indian ingredients. Expect ceviches, tiraditos and open-fire grills, alongside one of Bengaluru’s most extensive agave-focused cocktail programmes

The Dual Room

True to its name, The Dual Room embraces the idea of duality. By day, the Indiranagar space functions as a café centred around specialty coffee, breakfast plates and unhurried catch-ups; by night, it shifts into a restaurant and bar designed for dinner, drinks and late-evening conversations.

Led by coffee consultant Soudh Ibrahim, the menu spans everything from Salmon Ceviche and Empanadas to Korean Chicken Ramen and Peruvian Papa Noodles. The cocktail programme takes inspiration from the Seven Deadly Sins, with each drink interpreting a different state of being.

Goa

AAMI Café & Bistro

Set within a restored Portuguese villa in Candolim, AAMI Café & Bistro brings together an all-day café, thoughtfully designed Airbnb stays, and a heritage home reimagined for modern Goa. The restored property retains its original character through laterite stone walls, terracotta roofs, and a traditional balcao-style porch.

And the menu pairs continental favourites with Thai-and Asian-inspired dishes, while collaborations with Mumbai's TOISE Coffee and Anjuna's Cream Choc gelato enhance its appeal. Guests can also extend their stay beyond the café, with boutique accommodations and a restored heritage villa complete with an indoor pool and media centre.

Backroom Goa

Tucked away in Anjuna, Backroom Goa offers a refreshing alternative to the state's high-energy nightlife scene. The intimate cocktail bar has quietly built a following for its laid-back atmosphere, community-driven events, and inventive drinks that draw inspiration from regional flavours and personal stories.

Signature cocktails include the Dirty Shetty, a rasam-inspired vodka cocktail, and the playful First Cigarette, layered with rosemary, cucumber, and lavender. The food menu complements the drinks with dishes such as Prawn Potli Balchão, Truffle Pate Naan, and XO Fried Rice, while karaoke nights, game nights, and curated music keep the energy evolving long after sunset.

NINES, Vagator
