Once home to the eminent Dr. Aquilino Almeida, the estate still carries traces of its old-world grandeur through soaring 26-foot ceilings, original mosaic floors, hand-laid Belgian tiles, trefoil arches, and carefully preserved architectural details. At the centre of the property is Goa’s only temperature-controlled field-touch infinity pool, complete with a swim-up bar, surrounded by dreamy English-style gardens that instantly set the tone for a relaxed and indulgent stay. 

The six suites are all uniquely designed, each with its own personality, art collection, and décor style. Named after different expressions of happiness — Celebration, Joy, Bliss, Delight, Jubilation, and Glory — the suites blend colonial-style furniture, vintage chandeliers, curated artwork, rare books, and objects collected by the owners during their travels across Europe and the UK. Some suites feature private sit-outs opening into the gardens and verandas, while others include open-to-sky indoor-outdoor bathing spaces that add to the estate’s old-world romance.

Food is another highlight here. Guests are served authentic Goan and global cuisine made using fresh local ingredients, with dining experiences that feel thoughtful and immersive. Meals can unfold in the grand heritage dining room, amidst garden picnics, or through candlelit courtyard dinners under the stars.
