Relais & Châteaux SUJÁN Sher Bagh

📍 Ranthambore, Rajasthan

Set on the edge of Ranthambore National Park, Relais & Châteaux SUJÁN Sher Bagh is one of India’s most celebrated luxury safari camps, capturing the romance of the country’s grand safari era while offering deeply immersive wildlife experiences. Inspired by the glamorous 1920s safari camps once used during royal hunting expeditions, the camp combines old-world elegance, exceptional hospitality, and a strong commitment to conservation.

Created by the Singh family, long associated with tiger conservation efforts in Ranthambore, Sher Bagh offers a highly personalised wilderness experience centred around the Royal Bengal Tiger. With just 12 luxury tents and suites, including the Jungle Suites, Pukka Sahib Suite, and Royal Sher Suite, the atmosphere remains intimate, peaceful, and exclusive.

Spread across landscaped grounds shaded by indigenous trees, the hand-stitched canvas tents recreate the charm of classic British Raj-era expeditions while blending in every modern comfort. Interiors feature teak and rosewood campaign furniture, vintage travel trunks, handcrafted Indian textiles, brass fittings, marble bathrooms, and spacious verandas overlooking grasslands and forest edges. The overall design balances nostalgic safari romance with understated contemporary luxury.

Life at Relais & Châteaux SUJÁN Sher Bagh revolves around the wilderness. Private and shared tiger safaris led by expert naturalists and trackers offer unforgettable opportunities to witness Ranthambore’s celebrated tigers along with its rich birdlife and diverse ecosystem. Beyond safaris, the experience unfolds through birdwatching, village visits, nature walks, campfire evenings, and sundowners set against the landscape of the reserve.

Dining follows a thoughtful farm-to-table philosophy, with seasonal produce sourced organically from SUJÁN’s own farms and gardens. Menus bring together Anglo-Indian, European, and traditional Rajasthani influences through highly personalised dining experiences ranging from jungle breakfasts and outdoor bush lunches to clay-oven dinners beneath the stars. Curated wines, cocktails, and classic safari-style sundowners complete the experience.

Wellness at here is approached quietly through therapies inspired by jungle botanicals and the slower rhythm of camp life. Sustainability and conservation remain deeply woven into every part of the property, reflecting the Singh family’s longstanding commitment to protecting Ranthambore’s wildlife and fragile ecosystem..

Widely regarded as one of India’s finest luxury wildlife lodges, Relais & Châteaux SUJÁN Sher Bagh offers a rare balance of adventure, heritage-inspired design, conservation, and luxury.
