Grammy Awards 2024: Winners and Fashion Moments

By Devyani Sojatia

The Grammy Awards 2024 were a symphony of talent, elegance, and musical genius that honoured the biggest names in the music business for their outstanding contributions to the field. From electrifying performances to heartfelt acceptance speeches, as the industry's luminaries gathered for this star-studded event, the red carpet became a runway of sartorial elegance, showcasing a tapestry of styles and trends.

The red carpet for the 66th Annual Grammy Awards trend as sheer dresses took centre stage, epitomized by the striking fashion choices of celebrities like Miley Cyrus, Paris Hilton, and Doja Cat. Miley Cyrus, who won her first-ever Grammy awards for Record of the Year and Best Pop Solo Performance for Flowers,  showed up to the red carpet in a see-through gold mesh dress by Maison Margiela with her Dolly Parton-worthy hair.

Shifting our gaze away from the red carpet to the award ceremony, Taylor Swift created history at the Grammy Awards 2024, by winning her fourth award ( the most of any artist of all time) for Album Of The Year for Midnights. But that wasn't all, coming to fashion, she surely made a splash on the red carpet with a bold and sartorial pick. Swift dressed to have a big night at the 2024 Grammys, looking stunning arriving in a Schiaparelli couture white gown with a thigh-high leg slit. She wore her hair in a low ponytail with a watch choker that appeared to have the time set to midnight.

Leave it to Ice Spice to bring 2000 energy into 2024 with a Baby Phat denim look trimmed with fuzzy details. Olivia Rodrigo channelled Old Hollywood glamour in archival Versace. Dua Lipa looked absolutely breathtaking in a custom Courrèges and Tiffany & Co silver gown with cut-out detailing adding oomph and allure to her look.

Everyone always talks about couples who coordinate their looks - but what could possibly be more iconic than a mommy-and-me Versace moment? Victoria Monét twinned with her daughter, Hazel, who is officially a best-dressed Grammys guest at just two years old.
