Anvaya is a six-suite boutique retreat in Chhattarpur, tucked away on the edge of the Asola landscape in Delhi. Designed as a quiet escape from the city’s constant pace, the property highlights the beauty of simple living, encouraging guests to slow down and reconnect with nature. Surrounded by dense greenery, migratory birds, butterflies, bees, and even hundreds of peacocks, it feels far away from the chaos usually associated with Delhi.

Created by Shivan Gupta and his mother, Rama Gupta Tandon, Anvaya blends contemporary minimalism with warm, intimate hospitality. One end of the property opens into a natural dip in the land filled with native trees and thriving wildlife, adding to the sense of calm and seclusion that defines the experience.

Inspired by Delhi’s post-independence modernist architecture, the design language is clean, understated, and deeply connected to its surroundings. Yellow limestone, expansive glass façades, minimalist geometry, and landscaped gardens create spaces filled with natural light and openness. The seamless connection between indoor and outdoor living is central to the property, while sustainability remains a key focus through eco-friendly irrigation systems, native plantations, and temperature-regulating materials.

The spacious suites overlook forested landscapes, while the property’s striking glass pavilion acts as the heart of the retreat, hosting dining and social experiences against the backdrop of the Asola greens. Designed for complete privacy and exclusivity, Anvaya offers sprawling gardens, a swimming pool, and peaceful corners that invite guests to unwind at their own pace. Whether it’s reading by the pool, taking slow walks through the grounds, or simply soaking in the stillness, the atmosphere feels calm, refined, and deeply restorative.

Dining at Anvaya is an experience in itself. Led by Chef Maxime Montay, the culinary programme draws inspiration from French, Italian, Thai, and Mediterranean cuisines. The property is especially known for its artisanal breakfasts, elegant Parisian-style high teas with éclairs, macarons, financiers, and handcrafted desserts, as well as seasonal, chef-led meals. Served within the pavilion-style glass structure that opens into the surrounding forested landscape, every meal feels immersive, intimate, and thoughtfully curated.
